We are immediately looking for a Content Director for our office in the heart of Zurich.
Your tasks include:
- Leadership & recruiting of the internal editorial, graphic, and online teams
- Topic and page planning for the respective print supplements
- Budget responsibility for the production of print and online content
- Leadership and coordination of freelance journalists on a mandate basis
- Support of the sales team with thematic inputs and creative content ideas
- Proofreading and approval of content and layout within set deadlines
- Maintenance and expansion of the website network, distribution of online campaigns via the partner site network
- Reporting of online campaigns to clients
- Writing editorial texts as well as conducting interviews with celebrities, business representatives, and politicians
- Coordination of social media activities
- Monthly content school for employees
Who we are looking for:
You have several years of work experience in journalism and/or marketing. You are between 25 and 35 years old and ideally have experience in leading teams as well as negotiation skills. Your quick comprehension, efficient working style, and writing talent enable you to keep a cool head even in hectic moments and deliver high-quality content – for both print and online publications. We expect teamwork, flexibility, motivation, and very good English skills. HTML knowledge and French skills are a plus.
