Machine Park

As a manufacturer of complex three-dimensional micromechanical turned and milled parts, we specialize in combining various machining techniques for optimal results: CNC turning, CNC milling, and wire erosion. A particular strength is the combined processing of small parts, where often the pre-milled or pre-turned material is reworked on the wire erosion. This results in parts that would not be feasible with just one technique.

We have optimized all our machines to efficiently execute even complex orders.

Our machine park allows us to produce micromechanical parts for the industry as well as components of watch movements in small series. One must realize that a mechanical watch consists of up to 300 individual parts, all finely processed and fitting into just 2cm² of space.

Thanks to our experience in manufacturing Haute Horlogerie watch movements, we can offer extremely high-quality surface treatments, rework, as well as hardening/polishing of surfaces and parts upon request.

In addition to traditional machines, our CNC machine park includes:

Turning:

7-axis turning up to a diameter of 20.00mm, gearing both in the part and rolling process, milling with fully automatic material feed.

We also mill internal threads from M0.35 in steel, brass, titanium, and beryllium bronze.

5-axis ultra-precision lathe with pick-up spindle, bar passage up to 42 mm, chuck turned parts up to 150 mm

CNC machining centers:

3-axis, spindle speed up to 35,000 rpm

automatic material feed

3-axis, spindle speed up to 40,000 rpm

automatic material feed

5-axis, spindle speed 35,000 rpm

automatic material feed

Wire erosion:

5-axis precision wire erosion machine with fine cutting option, standard wire 0.1 mm

Laser:

100 x 100 mm, maximum workpiece height 150 mm, automatic material feed, engravings, surface structures, 3D processing of dials, minimum spot diameter approx. 0.02mm

3D printing:

4 3D printing systems, both for prototype construction and for contract manufacturing

All machining centers are equipped with a zero-point clamping system for palletizing System 3R.

For special processes, we also develop machining machines from scratch (e.g., EWS gearing machine, weight 1700 kg)

Technical Data

Turning:

• Bar material: Ø max. 40 mm
• Chuck turned parts: Ø 150mm
• Material: all metals and plastics

Milling:

• Material: Brass thickness 0.50 – 7.00 mm, steel thickness 0.10 – 15.00 mm, max. part size 36 mm x 41 mm automatically loaded, 100x100x30mm manually loaded
• On the 5-axis BAZ 150mm x 150mm* 150mm on pallets, automatic loading 70mm x 70mm x 70mm

Wire erosion:

• With our wire erosion machine with a wire of 0.1mm, we are also able to process all conductive materials and thus any metal.

Analysis:

Optical-tactile coordinate measuring machine for quality control and precise measurement of the produced parts.

Classic measuring methods, profile projector, all workstations equipped with stereo microscopes for control, manual hard metal grinding machine with 6 axes, cup tool measurement system

• Manual lathe Schaublin 102 with cross slide with digital display
• Manual lathe Schaublin 120 with pull and lead spindle
• Diverse manual Schaublin or Aciera milling machines
• Teaching drilling machine Hauser 2BA with digital display

• Ultrasonic cleaning system for fine cleaning of parts

Special tools

Our fixture construction specializes in the production of assembly aids.

Especially the assembly of the smallest assemblies is simplified with good work preparation through the use of assembly aids. Depending on the order, we manufacture special jigs in which the components are correctly positioned and protected throughout the entire assembly process.

Machines and tools are only as good as the people who operate them. UhrTeil AG is proud to have a team of dedicated employees who have been with us for a long time.

All our workshop employees are highly qualified and master 3D CAM programming and program their machines independently.
