The Restaurant Krone am See Altnau is a family-run year-round operation with a beautiful view over Lake Constance. Currently, the Krone is still under new construction, so we welcome our guests in our beautiful Krone Lounge. The Krone Lounge is our pop-up for this summer, where we serve our guests from our food trucks. From October, we will move to the à la carte restaurant with its upscale cuisine, which includes 80 seats. From spring 2023, we will also pamper our guests in the outdoor area of Krone am See. This includes 80 covered seats and 100 seats in the Krone Easy. The Krone team consists of 10 performers in winter and 20 in summer.
We are looking for a Sous Chef (m/f/d)
immediately or by arrangement | 100% in seasonal or permanent position
Area of responsibility
As station chef and deputy to the head chef, you are responsible for a well-organized workflow in your area. Quality assurance and control are also part of your tasks. You enjoy working in a team, coordinate the kitchen brigade, and motivate them to top performance. You feel at home in both à la carte service and banquet service. The food offerings in the beer garden and kiosk are also under your care. Planning menus and writing menus brings you joy. Seasonal and regional purchasing is a matter of course for you, and you can identify with our philosophy. You enjoy training young culinary apprentices and bring the necessary patience and composure for this. You implement the hygiene concept with expertise and can also delegate work well.
