As Chief of Staff, you support the command leadership, manage central processes, and ensure that our cantonal police operates transparently and effectively. You will be a member of the executive management.

What to expect
- You are responsible for the implementation, further development, and monitoring of the overall strategy of the Cantonal Police of St. Gallen
- You prepare matters for the department and executive management in close coordination with the commander, coordinate the affairs of the main departments, and ensure alignment with the overall strategy
- You provide the key performance indicators of the cantonal police and derive recommendations for action from them
- You are responsible for the internal idea and complaint management as well as the internal control system and process management
- You plan and manage organizational and corporate development projects in close cooperation with the executive management and the commander and are responsible for change management
- You oversee national, concordat, and cantonal projects and affairs and support the commander in preparing for committees
What distinguishes you
- Several years of experience in a leadership role with a focus on change management, strategic consulting, or strategy monitoring
- Advanced police professional examination or university degree (e.g., public administration, business administration, public management) or equivalent qualification
- Experience in a police or related organization
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills, persuasiveness, and diplomacy
- Organizational and planning talent
