Your Tasks
- Basic medical care for chronically ill people with different needs and specialties (e.g. general geriatrics, gerontopsychiatry, palliative medicine including hospice)
- Medical care of geriatric patients in transitional and long-term care
- Conducting roundtable and site meetings with patients and their relatives as well as other members of the treatment team
- Participation in interdisciplinary reports and professional exchanges with nursing and care teams
- Patient-related collaboration with specialist colleagues in the hospital, with general practitioners in the region as well as with additional specialists
- Training of assistant doctors in medicine on a rotation basis as well as Advanced Practice Nurses (APN)
- Participation in training and continuing education programs
Your Profile
- Specialist title in General Internal Medicine FMH or equivalent
- Experience in the field of geriatrics, palliative medicine or psychiatry is an advantage
- Open, friendly and innovative personality
- Motivation and commitment to interdisciplinary, interprofessional and partnership-based collaboration
- Responsible and committed way of working
- Interest in continuous development
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form
