Tasks
The Schürmatt Foundation is a competence center for unique special education services in the canton of Aargau. We employ around 440 staff at 13 locations. They are mainly active in the education, support, and care of people with disabilities.
We are looking for a competent person at the Densbüren location starting August 1, 2026, as
Intern Cooperative School
Workload 50 - 70 %
Requirements
Your main tasks
- You work in a class (Cycle 1) led by a special education teacher and cooperatively with a regular class.
- You accompany, together with the experienced team, eight children aged 7 to 10 years with cognitive and multiple disabilities in everyday school life. You supervise the children during lunch break and provide environmental work.
- You have the opportunity to experience and help shape the educational processes of our students.
- You support the planning and implementation of lessons and the management of everyday school life together.
- You perform administrative tasks
You bring with you
- Interest in working with children with developmental abnormalities or disabilities
- At least 18 years old
- Assertive, cheerful personality
- Skilled in dealing with people and pedagogical talent
- Sense of responsibility, commitment, and humor
- Good manners and communication skills
- Motivation and reliability
