Project Manager for Agricultural Construction and Housing Promotion
Office for Agriculture and Geoinformation | 80-100% | Chur
The Office for Agriculture and Geoinformation is a service of the Department of Public Economy and Social Affairs. It includes the four sections: agricultural measures, structural improvement, surveying, and the GIS competence center.
The structural improvement section makes a substantial contribution to the sustainable development of rural areas. Its diverse range of tasks includes, in addition to agricultural construction and housing promotion, civil engineering measures as well as regional development projects (RDP). The construction sector is responsible for the renovation and new construction of stables. It also supports the rehabilitation of alpine pastures, processing companies, as well as the renovation and construction of new residential buildings in mountain regions.

For the construction sector, we are looking for a project manager for agricultural construction and housing promotion starting January 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Tasks
- Supervision of construction projects from a technical, administrative, and financial perspective
- Support for clients and planning offices
- Processing of subsidy applications
- Review of promotion applications within the framework of cantonal housing promotion
- Collaboration within working groups and national and cantonal bodies for the further development of promotion tools
What we expect from you
- University or university of applied sciences degree in architecture, agronomy, or a related field
- Good communication skills and self-confidence
- Structured, solution-oriented, and conceptual thinking and working methods
- Service orientation, team spirit, willingness to intervene, and initiative
- Excellent knowledge of German; knowledge of other cantonal languages is an advantage
