Hey, we are AF Tissue Expert Switzerland AG. We are the central shared service center within a family-run group of hygiene paper manufacturers in Switzerland and abroad in Europe.
As AF Tissue Expert Switzerland AG, we bundle all overarching functions such as finance, HR, IT, purchasing, sales, and planning and work closely with our production sites Tela (Niederbipp) and Cartaseta (Gretzenbach).
Tela and Cartaseta stand for high-quality hygiene papers, modern technology, and sustainable production processes. You work close to the plants, understand their needs, and actively shape how our production sites are supported today and in the future.

HR Specialist 100% (m/f/d)
Tasks
- HR administration from entry to exit
You are responsible for the entire administrative processing along the employee lifecycle – from contract creation through onboarding to exit
- Contact person for managers and employees
You support in everyday HR questions regarding employment, absences, contracts, and other personnel-related topics
- Organization of work clothes
You coordinate the ordering, management of work clothes, and ensure smooth supply
- Absence and case management
You handle absences in a structured manner and communicate with internal and external parties
- Time tracking system
You maintain and manage our time tracking system and ensure its correct application
- Payroll processing & social insurances
You support or are responsible (depending on experience) for timely payroll processing with Abacus as well as handling social insurances
- HR reports
You create regular evaluations and support the preparation of HR key figures
- Participation in HR topics and smaller projects
You support the implementation of HR topics in everyday work
- All-round support in the HR team
You pitch in where support is needed and ensure smooth processes together with the team
Profile
- Commercial training with HR specialist certificate
You have completed commercial basic training as well as the HR specialist certificate
- Professional experience in operational HR
You bring several years of experience in HR – ideally in a generalist or strongly operational function. You are used to handling HR topics independently in everyday work
- Knowledge of labor law & social insurances
You have good knowledge of Swiss labor law and social insurance and apply it confidently in everyday work
- IT affinity
You work confidently with HR systems. Experience with Abacus is an advantage
- Structured and independent working style
You work reliably, organized, and take responsibility for your area of tasks
- Organizational talent and resilience
You keep an overview even with several parallel tasks and set priorities sensibly
- Service-oriented personality
You are an accessible and pragmatic contact person for employees and managers and convince with your solution-oriented manner
- Flexibility and practical approach
You feel comfortable in a down-to-earth, dynamic environment and like to pitch in in everyday work
- Very good German skills
You communicate clearly and confidently in spoken and written form
