Your Tasks

The Board of Directors is responsible for the highest level of corporate management.

It brings together expertise in healthcare, strategic corporate management, finance and risk management, law and compliance, HR and corporate culture, investments and infrastructure, ICT / digitalization, medicine and nursing

Your Profile

• Completed university degree, preferably with a background in business administration, medicine, or health economics
• Mandatory operational management experience in hospital management, e.g., as hospital director, department or division head, or comparable leadership position in a larger healthcare organization
• Experience in strategic corporate management and governance, ideally with existing board experience in healthcare
• Knowledge of Swiss health policy and cantonal hospital planning.
• Strong financial and business management skills with an understanding of the specifics of hospital financing (DRG system, investment calculation)
• Integrity with strategic foresight, assertiveness, and strong social skills in dealing with various stakeholders (physicians, nursing staff, politics, population)
• Team player
• Availability required (5 board meetings, 3 half-day workshops, depending on profile 2-3 committee meetings)
