To strengthen our team in the Financial Services area, we are looking for an experienced personality as

Head of Investment Operations 80-100%

Your area of responsibility:

• As Head of Investment Operations, you will lead the "Projects, Reporting and Performance" team and develop the department professionally and strategically.
• You will take over the leadership and responsibility for the topics of Investment Controlling, Order Handling, and Trading Compliance.
• You will develop and optimize processes for the technical implementation of asset management and advisory mandates in our banking software (Avaloq), with particular responsibility for recording restrictions as well as strategy and currency allocations.
• You will significantly contribute to maintaining data models for performance calculation and ensure that compliance and performance controlling for asset management mandates are effectively implemented.
• You are responsible for the efficient design and monitoring of processes in the area of securities transactions across all asset classes, including order handling, trade confirmations, and other central settlements in securities trading. In addition, you are responsible for ad-hoc and rule-based trading and risk reporting as well as ensuring data quality.
• In collaboration with other departments, you will support the further development of the banking software and ensure that the specific requirements of the Investment Operations area and its regulatory provisions are implemented.
• Furthermore, you represent the professional needs of your team in cross-departmental projects and ensure the successful integration of new solutions.

This is how you convince us:

Education/Experience:

• Commercial training (bank), university of applied sciences, CFA or AZEK advantageous
• Several years of professional experience in the securities area
• Proficient handling of financial/banking information systems, Avaloq and MAX trading system knowledge as well as trader license advantageous
• Good knowledge of Office programs (especially Excel)
• Project experience
• Confident German and good English skills

Person:

• You bring extensive experience in the area of Investment Operations or asset management and have solid knowledge in leading and further developing relevant processes.
• You are familiar with Avaloq and other asset management systems. Ideally, you have experience in data modeling and performance calculation.
• You have pronounced leadership skills and have successfully led teams as well as managed cross-departmental projects.
