Head of Gastronomy Department

About the job

The Head of Gastronomy is a key figure for managing marketing and sales strategies in the department.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in implementing sales, marketing and communication strategies with new concepts and improving existing ones
• Analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the department's performance, identifying strengths to develop and areas for improvement
• Control and development of processing, merchandise production and sales processes
• Responsibility for local projects related to catering
• Management and negotiation with suppliers
• Team management
• Maintaining the internal/external company contact network within their work area
• Supervision of the pastry production laboratory (personnel and budget management)
• Participation in internal coordination meetings (including at national level)

Skills

• Education: Student (university/SUP/SSS)
• Specialisation: Hospitality
• Work experience: 5 years in managerial positions in catering
• Ease of use of main IT systems and applications
• Strong leadership skills in team management
• Teamwork attitude and good communication skills
• Italian (C2)
• German (C1)
