About the job
The ESB Foundation Baselland is a regionally significant social enterprise and offers people in need of support attractive training and job opportunities as well as various forms of housing and services. ESB provides its services at 23 locations, 22 of them in the canton of Basel-Landschaft, one in the canton of Basel-Stadt. All activities aim to promote the self-determined life of people with disabilities.
To expand our team at the Liestal location, we are looking for a competent
Case Manager*in Vocational Measures 70% - 80%
The Vocational Measures area includes an internal vocational school, an internal training group in the assembly area at the level of an IV apprenticeship as well as IV apprenticeships, INSOS-PrA, EBA and EFZ training in various work areas. Currently, a total of 50 people are in an initial vocational training measure. Some of the learners live in the ESB youth residential home, which also belongs to the Vocational Measures area.
This is what you will achieve with us
- Training responsibility on a professional, administrative and organizational level
- Implementation of the strategy and goals of training in the Vocational Measures area
- Co-responsibility for the budget for the area of learners
- Responsibility for reporting/documentation
- Close support of trainees and training supervisors
- Collaboration and networking with the referring authorities (mainly IV offices), special education schools, clinics and parents
This is what you bring with you
- A completed degree in psychology and/or career counseling, work pedagogy, social pedagogy or social work
- Very good negotiation skills with the referring authorities and existing interfaces
- High social and methodological competence in dealing with adolescents and young adults with health impairments in often complex life situations
- High independence, resilience, sense of responsibility as well as ability to work in a team
- Knowledge of Swiss vocational education
- Fluent German
- Driver's license category B
