What you can achieve
- Assessment of historical and technical contaminated site investigations
- Consultation and support of monitoring and remediation measures according to the Contaminated Sites Ordinance
- Review of building applications, plans, and environmental impact reports (EIR)
- Supervision of landfill operations and management of the regular revision of the cantonal landfill planning
- Statements on legal proceedings in cooperation with the cantonal legal service
- Close cooperation with districts, municipalities, companies, planners, specialist offices, and neighboring cantons
- Support of the office in public relations
What distinguishes you for this
- University or university of applied sciences degree, preferably in geology, environmental sciences, or chemistry
- Professional experience in the field of contaminated sites and landfills is an advantage
- Good negotiation skills and assertiveness
- Experience in project management as well as dealing with authorities and companies
- Confident and professional appearance combined with good communication skills
- Clean and conscientious working style
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form
