To complete its team, the Medical Directorate is looking for the Pulmonology Unit based at
HFR Fribourg – Cantonal Hospital and at HFR Riaz, a
Specialized Nurse or Assistant in Care and Community Health (ASSC) or Medical Assistant with recognized skills in the room

Your mission:
- Prepare the room and endoscopy equipment (bronchoscopy) according to hygiene and safety protocols
- Welcome and inform patients before the examination, ensure their comfort and answer their questions
- Assist the doctor during bronchoscopies (equipment management, technical assistance, sampling)
- Manage endoscopic samples after examination
- Ensure the storage of endoscopy equipment and supervise cleaning according to current standards
- Work closely with the pulmonologist and care teams (notably, day hospital and anesthesia team) to ensure quality and safety of care
- Participate in the development and improvement of protocols and procedures specific to endoscopy
- Manage pulmonology endoscopy equipment
- Contribute to the traceability of procedures, stock management, and quality assurance of the sector.
- Perform complete lung function tests or be able to be trained in this area for activity at HFR Fribourg – Cantonal Hospital and HFR Riaz
Your profile:
- You hold a diploma in nursing or ASSC or medical assistant
- You have a CAS training in endoscopy / Interuniversity Diploma (DIU) in endoscopy or equivalent training in endoscopy
- You have experience in endoscopy, especially in pulmonology endoscopy, desirable
- You have training to perform lung functions or agree to undertake it (training provided)
- You master French or German with good knowledge of the other language
- You appreciate working in an interdisciplinary team
- You have a dynamic and constructive spirit
- You are open to change and have adaptability skills
