Available junior assistant positions in the field of internal medicine from July 2026.
The Cantonal Hospital Uri is highly committed to qualified young professionals in healthcare and non-medical professions. With around 80 training positions, we are one of the largest training providers in the region. Nestled in the beautiful mountain landscape at the southern end of Lake Lucerne, the region offers numerous sporting (30 minutes to various ski destinations) and cultural leisure opportunities as well as excellent connections to the Zurich and Lucerne metropolitan areas. We offer training positions lasting one to four months in three different departments.The junior assistants receive versatile training and competent supervision from the responsible doctors. We value a good teaching and learning culture as well as a pleasant working atmosphere and a trusting interaction. During the training period, junior assistants are equal in their training-related rights and duties to fully enrolled students of the Medical Faculty of Zurich. The practical training completed is identical in content to that provided to fully enrolled medical students at the University of Zurich.
