About the job
Since 1899, the cooperative company HG COMMERCIALE, with its approximately 850 employees, has been one of the leading service providers in the Swiss construction sector. Our diversity makes us different: we value both the experience of our long-standing HGC professionals from various trades and the young talents we encourage internally and externally. In our corporate culture, we demonstrate frankness, impartiality, and honesty while remaining pragmatic. We place great importance on mutual trust. Everyone must take responsibility and be a source of ideas. Indeed, we want to move forward together and shape the future of the construction industry.
YOUR MAIN TASKS
Your main mission is to manage the warehouse and efficiently lead your team. You are also responsible for supervising logistics apprentices. In collaboration with your team, you ensure the smooth running of storage processes within our warehouse and tackle the daily challenges related to your activities: managing goods receipts in our ERP system, optimal storage, and order preparation.
You play a central role as a contact person for the sales and purchasing departments while working closely with the transport service. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with and enforcement of occupational safety standards in the logistics area.
Finally, you actively participate in various logistics projects, from their design to their implementation on site, thus contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations.
Your Profile
You are a communicative leader with leadership qualities. You have successfully completed your logistics apprenticeship (CFC) and have training in logistics (specialist logistics certificate or similar). Your experience and organizational skills allow you to act confidently and reliably; you are flexible, service-oriented, and enjoy collaborating with other departments. You are comfortable with both forklifts and IT management and can effectively combine practical work and management. Knowledge in the field of wood is desirable and will facilitate your start. You are proficient with common MS Office programs, and prior knowledge of the ERP SAP system is an advantage. You must have a forklift license recognized by SUVA and a driving license.
