Apprenticeship Construction Separator EFZ

• Work preparations
• Read and understand plans
• Take measurements and enter them in the plans at the correct scale
• Mark the components to be cut using leveling devices or laser devices
• Prepare the necessary machines and tools such as saws, drills, or milling machines
• Set up the workplace, take safety measures, e.g., put up signs and barriers or secure scaffolding
• Sawing and drilling work
• Determine the exact positions where openings for doors, windows, elevators, ventilation shafts, and other ducts need to be created
• Provide pumps and water drains as well as dust and splash water protection devices
• Set up, adjust, operate, and run machines and tools for concrete processing, such as drills, milling machines, wire, chain, and other saws equipped with diamond segments
• Continuously monitor the progress and quality of the work
• Demolition and cleanup work
• Demolish buildings wholly or partially with various machines and use the right tools for it
• Dispose of or recycle the cut-out parts, demolition materials, and other construction waste in an environmentally friendly manner
• Write work reports
• Clean and maintain machines

• Secondary level A, B, or good C diploma
• Practical understanding
• Manual skills

• Technical understanding
• Strong constitution
