Supply Chain Manager
As a Supply Chain Manager, you take on a key role and bear the strategic as well as operational responsibility for the entire supply chain at our production site in Kreuzlingen, ensuring timely and quality-compliant supply to our customers.
Tasks:
- Member of the management team and co-responsible for the further development of the Kreuzlingen site
- Technical and organizational overall management of the Supply Chain Management area at the Kreuzlingen production plant (production planning, logistics, purchasing, export, demand management, master data – approx. 40 employees)
- Development and implementation of a future-oriented logistics and distribution strategy
- Responsibility for cross-product production planning along the entire supply chain
- Ensuring high delivery readiness with optimal inventory and maximum delivery reliability
- Ensuring integrated production and capacity planning
- Control of material flows, especially with regard to quality-critical processes
- Continuous optimization of processes along the supply chain to increase customer satisfaction, efficiency, and quality
- Reliable and proactive business partner for management at plant and corporate level
- Support in ensuring regulatory requirements in SCM (e.g., traceability, documentation)
- Anchoring Operational Excellence (OPEX) in the SCM area
- Contact person for SCM-relevant projects and initiatives
Requirements:
- Completed studies in supply chain management, business administration, or related fields
- Several years of professional experience in the supply chain area of a manufacturing company, ideally in an international corporate structure
- Sound knowledge in production planning, materials management, and logistics
- Experience in strategic control and further development of supply chain processes with an entrepreneurial overall view
- Excellent IT skills, especially confident handling of SAP
- Knowledge of typical pharmaceutical regulations (e.g., GMP, ISO 9001, SOX) or comparable standards is an advantage
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
- Assertiveness, integrity, and strong decision-making ability
- Modern leadership understanding: appreciative, development-oriented, and goal-oriented
- Teamwork skills and hands-on mentality
- Strong communication skills and confident appearance – also in interdisciplinary and international contexts
- Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
