At Sika Manufacturing AG in Sarnen, we manufacture high-quality plastic membranes for roof, tunnel, and structural waterproofing. The plant operator (m/f) plays a key role in the production process and, together with their team, is responsible for ensuring a high standard of quality and performance.

Job Description

• Advising, coordinating, and leading the execution of development and production trials as well as special productions
• Part of the Local-Expert-Team (LET) Target Market Roofing and Waterproofing
• Co-responsible for process engineering optimizations
• Leading or participating in problem-solving processes
• Participation in project teams and/or leading projects

Qualifications

• Completed technical basic training (EFZ)
• Further education or advanced training in the technical field
• Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
• Confident handling of MS Office and SAP
• Strong methodological competence and strong analytical as well as solution-oriented skills
• Knowledge in FMEA, validation, process capability analysis, problem solving, and 8-D report is an advantage
• Experience with lean methods is desirable
