Summary of responsibilities:
Reporting to the Sous-Chef, the essential responsibilities and functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Assist chefs in the preparation and creation of dishes or desserts
- Learn all menu dishes, recipes, and kitchen/pastry hygiene rules
- Learn and understand the operation of all kitchen equipment
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Follow all kitchen/pastry information provided by the chefs
- Respect all hygiene and safety policies when handling food and beverages and HACCP standards
- Participate in all regularly scheduled department meetings
- Commit to the quality of your service, discretion, and perfect honesty
- Maintain a professional attitude, be smiling, and remain calm at all times
- Respect ergonomic work standards in health & safety rules, hygiene, and sanitary prescriptions
- Respect the policies, procedures, and service standards of the department and company
- Any other tasks as assigned.
- Internship as part of hotel training
- Knowledge of the French language
- Previous experience in a culinary field is an asset

VISA REQUIREMENTS
To work in Switzerland, the candidate must have a Swiss work permit or be from an EU-17 or EU-8 European country.
