Experienced Insurance and Compliance Lawyer (m/f/x) – 80-100%

To strengthen our General Secretariat Department, which offers high-level legal and compliance services to our internal units, we are looking for an experienced Insurance and Compliance Lawyer, between 80 and 100%.

The various tasks awaiting you:

• Thanks to your knowledge and experience in the private insurance sector in Switzerland, identify and provide legal support to the business units in analyzing relevant legal updates for our insurance company, ensure the follow-up of their implementation to guarantee the compliance of our operations over time, as well as provide your legal expertise to business projects concerning these aspects
• Carry out the necessary internal analyses and preparations to coordinate and respond to requests from supervisory authorities, support their on-site inspections, and make the necessary communications to the authorities in a timely manner to ensure the regularity of our activities
• Contribute to the sustainable compliance of our activities by ensuring the currency of internal directives, monitoring regulatory developments, managing compliance risks and related controls, periodic reporting to management and the board of directors, as well as preparing and facilitating our internal legal committees
• In collaboration with business colleagues: plan, develop, and conduct, in French and German, training and awareness sessions on topics relevant to Vaudoise Assurances
• Collect, identify, and handle reports of violations of our internal regulations, together with other company stakeholders

What makes you unique:

• Master’s degree in Swiss law required, additional or postgraduate training in insurance and/or compliance is an asset
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the insurance sector in Switzerland is essential
• Native French speaker with excellent command of German (minimum level C1)

You are also pragmatic, comfortable in your interactions with colleagues and external stakeholders. You demonstrate a strong team spirit and know how to accomplish your tasks independently.
