Diogenes Verlag is the largest independent fiction publisher in Europe and publishes international literature, art, and children's books.
We are looking for an Editorial Coordinator (m/f/d) 80–100% for our editorial department starting immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks include:
- Organization and coordination of internal editorial and cross-departmental processes related to the biannual publisher's preview; schedule control and overall overview of the editorial content of the preview, proofreading control; coordination and support of editors in creating content and preview texts.
- Preparation and participation in planning meetings, taking minutes.
- Content coordination of the publisher's eBook production.
- Administrative support for the audiobook program managers.
- Database maintenance and updates of product and author texts, audiobook data, and intranet.
In addition to your passion for literature, your profile includes:
- a completed degree in linguistics or a comparable field, ideally with publishing experience.
- excellent German skills at a native level as well as very good English skills; additional languages are an advantage.
- an excellent sense of language and proficient orthographic skills.
- organizational strength and quick comprehension.

- a structured and independent working style.
- a high degree of discretion and reliability as well as communication and teamwork skills.
- strong competence in using Office 365 tools (especially Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) and experience working with databases.
