Internship Positions for Students

About the job

As one of the leading timber engineering offices in the DACH region, we design multi-storey buildings, extensive industrial buildings, or bridges using timber construction methods. We are strongly committed to the training and further education of young, motivated professionals and offer four to five internship positions for students (BSc Wood Technology and Dipl. Wood Technologist HF Timber Construction) each year starting in February at one of the locations in Zurich, Bern, Lucerne, Vienna, Delémont, or Lausanne.

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge you have acquired in the areas of statics and construction, fire protection and building physics, or in workshop planning in practice. If interested, you can also take on tasks in product development in our Innovation Lab. Upon request, you can complete your internship at different locations.

Supporting your internship is a special concern for us. We guarantee close supervision throughout the entire internship period and while working on your bachelor’s or diploma thesis. In addition, we place great value on the Timbatec team spirit. Therefore, we hold four team days and a ski or snow day annually.
