About the job
Senior Mechanical Engineer – Medical and Lab Systems
At our development centre in Wil, we realise products for leading, forward-looking companies – from medical and laboratory technology to household appliances and industrial products. For demanding development projects in the Medical & Lab Systems sectors, we are seeking reinforcement in the field of mechanical development.
Area of Activity
As an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a passion for interdisciplinary product development, you will develop innovative devices and systems together with our teams, from the idea to series production. Your focus is on the design, dimensioning and construction of mechanical and mechatronic components and systems. You contribute your own ideas and independently develop technical concepts and solutions.
You independently take on demanding technical work packages and develop viable concepts from customer requirements. You design these, implement them constructively and optimise them based on prototypes and tests, iteratively until a series-ready solution is achieved. In doing so, you consider the interfaces with other disciplines and keep an eye on the function of the overall system. You analyse and solve technical challenges systematically and pragmatically. In close collaboration with our project teams and customers, you develop solutions that meet both technical and economic requirements equally.
Technical excellence, creativity and a high quality awareness are at the centre of your daily work. You will have the opportunity to participate in demanding development projects for globally active corporations, innovative SMEs and technology-oriented start-ups and to continuously expand your knowledge in different industries and technologies. In the process, you will gradually take on more responsibility in technical project management, direct customer contact and the strategic expansion of our customer relationships.
