Job Description
Within the Laboratory department, your main tasks will be to ensure the qualification of our watch heads, movements and watch components, to write control instructions as well as to provide support to the various departments regarding specific analyses.
In this context, you will be responsible for:
- Performing performance and ageing tests on our watch heads, movements and watch components as well as analysing movements after qualification tests
- Expressing and formalising observations and measurements and writing analysis and qualification reports
- Conducting specific analyses as support for assembly and quality control workshops
- Defining plans and qualification sheets for new products, in connection with AP test catalogues
- Writing and maintaining specific control instructions for watch heads
- Defining programmes for measuring the chronometric performance of movements and for barrel control
Qualifications
- Holder of a Watchmaker Federal VET Diploma or equivalent training, ideally complemented by training as a Watchmaking Design Technician, you have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position
- You have experience in the field of complicated mechanical movements
- You are accustomed to using mechanical and climatic measurement and ageing devices
- You possess knowledge in statistical data measurement and processing
- You have good knowledge of the MS Office suite
- You demonstrate rigour and are proactive
- You have good analytical and synthesis skills and possess good writing abilities
- Open and attentive by nature, you enjoy working in a team
