With us, you have the chance to develop tools and platforms so that the various user groups in the bank (including Audit, Client Analytics, Compliance, Controlling, Fraud, Trading, Risk) can do their work around reporting / BI / data science / AI even better.

Your tasks

Developing a product strategy/roadmap for data acquisition and data storage derived from the requirements of stakeholders around the topics of data, analytics, BI & AI (including MLOps, security, risks) as well as their integration into the overall context (e.g., banking processes)
Defining and introducing standards around the topic of data engineering
Working closely with data scientists / data engineers in the departments to collect/structure business needs / new requirements and ensure coordination across functions
Structuring/detailed requirements into features and stories as well as creating an actionable roadmap considering business benefits, delivery capacities, and dependencies
Ensuring roadmap implementation through close collaboration with the DevOps team and stakeholders, especially from architecture and security
Managing / owning the product backlog and prioritizing based on business impact and technical feasibility

Your profile

Experience as a product owner ideally in an agile framework (e.g., SAFe) with a focus on data, business intelligence, analytics & AI
Implementation experience of modern data architectures (including decentralized data storage, self-service, data virtualization, lakehouse, and data products)
Good understanding and broad knowledge from practical use, current technologies/tools, and developments in data provisioning and data storage for business intelligence, analytics, and AI (including Delta, Iceberg, Spark, DBT, Azure Cloud)
Practical data science experience (e.g., knowledge of Python or R, and SQL) and the associated standards (including model deployment)
High IT affinity combined with analytical thinking, strong structuring skills, excellent conceptual abilities, good judgment, and initiative
Good communication skills and appropriate handling of different stakeholders (including business, data science, architecture, security, development teams) combined with strong persuasion and assertiveness skills
Knowledge of relevant regulatory and data protection requirements when working with data & AI
Very good German language skills
