Employee Farm Operation / Allrounder

Office for Justice Enforcement Graubünden | 80-100% | JVA Realta, Cazis

The Office for Justice Enforcement (AJV) Graubünden is a department of the Department of Justice, Security, and Health of the Canton of Graubünden. The AJV is responsible for criminal and measure enforcement as well as the execution of various types of detention. In Graubünden, the enforcement of sentences and measures is regulated as a unified subject and holistic task, in which various professional groups work interdisciplinarily with offenders to prevent further delinquency.

The Realta Correctional Facility (JVA) serves the open penal system for men according to the Swiss Penal Code.

We are looking for an Employee Farm Operation / Allrounder starting June 1, 2026, or by agreement.

Your area of responsibility

Care, guidance, and leadership of assigned persons
You will be deployed in all areas of the farm operation. This includes animal husbandry, field and fruit cultivation, agro workshop, and the nursery
As an allrounder, you will also be deployed in emergencies in other areas of JVA Realta, such as the wood yard
Professional and timely completion of all tasks in the area of deployment
Perform weekend and on-call duties

What we expect from you

Completed training as an EFZ farmer or a comparable qualification in the green sector
Several years of professional experience
You see dealing with people from different cultures as a positive challenge
Balanced, team-oriented, flexible, resilient, and conflict-capable personality with high social competence
Good German skills (at least C1) – knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage
Enjoyment of varied activities
Driver's license category B
Willingness to complete training as a specialist for justice enforcement
A clean record (no entries in the criminal record and debt enforcement extract)
