IHRE AUFGABEN
As Head of Mortgage Advisory Switzerland, you will assume end‑to‑end operational responsibility for the bank’s mortgage advisory and sales activities across Switzerland. Operating at the intersection of client advisory, real estate financing and risk management, your remit spans strategic leadership, complex deal structuring and first‑line risk oversight within a highly regulated environment.
Mortgage Advisory Excellence & Risk Management

Serve as the first line of defence for all mortgage advisory and sales activities, ensuring adherence to credit policies, FINMA regulations and risk standards

Oversee the assessment, structuring and presentation of complex financing solutions for Swiss residential and investment properties

Lead the end‑to‑end preparation and delivery of credit requests to Credit Risk and the bank’s Credit Committee, ensuring clarity, accuracy and sound risk justification

Promote best practices in affordability analysis, collateral valuations and deal structuring to maintain highest levels of advisory and risk quality
Client Engagement & (U)HNWI Coverage

Actively engage with (U)HNWI clients seeking financing for Swiss real estate, delivering tailored and sophisticated mortgage solutions

Collaborate closely with private banking, real estate experts, wealth planners and investment specialists to support integrated client coverage and strengthen relationships

Represent the mortgage advisory function as a trusted expert in client meetings, pitches and strategic discussions
Strategic Leadership & Business Development

Shape and execute the Swiss-wide client and product strategy for mortgage financing as part of the real estate organisation in alignment with regulatory expectations and internal risk frameworks

Drive the evolution of the bank’s mortgage offering, identifying opportunities to enhance client value, operational efficiency and market competitiveness in the day-to-day

Act as a senior sparring partner to the Head of Real Estate and broader leadership teams, contributing expertise to strategic initiatives and cross‑divisional collaboration
People Leadership & Organisational Development

Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing team of 12–15 mortgage advisors across Switzerland

Foster a culture of professional excellence, collaboration and accountability, with a strong focus on client-centricity and execution quality

Strengthen capabilities across the advisory organisation, including coaching, succession planning and skill development
Operational Excellence & Digital Capabilities

Support the implementation and enhancement of digital tools, mortgage platforms, CRM systems and process automation to support efficiency and advisor productivity

Ensure consistent, high-quality advisory processes and documentation standards across all Swiss regions

Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, such as technology, operations and risk divisions to optimise workflows and streamline delivery
Senior Management & Governance

Act as a senior leader within the Real Estate division, reporting directly to the Head of Real Estate within Region Western Markets & Switzerland

Represent the mortgage advisory function in internal committees, governance bodies and strategic working groups

Provide regular business insights and risk assessments to senior management
YOUR PROFILE
-
University degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Law or equivalent and/or Swiss Banking education with respective further professional education
-
10+ years of experience in Swiss mortgage advisory and complex real estate financing, ideally gained in a private banking environment
-
Professional background in private banking, wealth management, or a Swiss universal bank, with proven exposure to (U)HNWI clients

Deep technical knowledge of Swiss mortgage products, affordability rules, collateral valuation and real estate market specifics

Profound experience in digital and process optimization, including mortgage tools and CRM systems
-
Strong understanding of FINMA regulations, credit policy application and risk frameworks

Demonstrated strengths and abilities (8+ years) in client and senior stakeholder management

Successful track-record in strategic leadership and business development

Fluent in German and English (French and/or Italian highly advantageous)
