For our "Asset Data Management" team, we are looking for reinforcement as soon as possible in the role of:
Asset Data Engineer (80-100%) - 1350
Ensuring electricity in Switzerland
As a Data Engineer, you work closely with the specialist departments in Asset Management and develop technical solutions based on their requirements. Your focus is on automating data processes in the area of network construction projects and maintenance. Together with the team, you take on the setup and management of the Data Warehouse, manage data automations via the FME Flow (FME Server), and are responsible for building applications in SAP PM. Your tasks include:
- Implementation of data automations and data engineering activities in asset information systems using FME Form
- Building and maintaining the Data Warehouse as well as ETL processes in the Medallion architecture
- Integration and modeling of asset data in collaboration with experts
- Implementation and further development of business processes in SAP PM and the SAP Geo Enablement Framework
- Responsibility for the SAP PM application (Application Ownership)
- Ensuring data quality for business processes and applications
- Analysis, evaluation, and transformation of data
- Participation in digital transformation projects as a specialist for asset data

For this exciting role, we are looking for you as a solution-oriented and communicative personality, with good self-organization and a high awareness of quality. In addition, you bring the following:
- Completed studies in electrical or energy engineering with a skill set in data management or computer science
- Several years of professional experience in data management with ETL / ELT processes using FME or similar applications
- Very good knowledge in data modeling and requirements analysis
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex issues understandably
- Good SQL and programming skills (e.g., Python)
- Customer-oriented and independent working style
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
- Fluent and negotiation-safe German and very good English skills

In the Asset Data Management team, data and information systems related to Swissgrid operating equipment are the focus. In the role of a Data Engineer, you get an insight behind the scenes into the data and systems of grid infrastructure core processes.
We develop technical specifications for capturing data from network construction projects and maintenance, design and are responsible for the further development of asset information systems, manage the central Data Warehouse, create data products, and implement data integrations. Additionally, our Data Engineers take full responsibility for applications and perform the function of Application Owners.
