The Paul Scherrer Institute PSI is the largest research institute for natural and engineering sciences in Switzerland. The university internship in the Directorate Staff, Science Department of PSI gives you the opportunity to gain first professional experience in a motivated and dynamic team.

Your tasks

Support the team in the Directorate Staff with its diverse range of tasks and gain insight into the broad thematic landscape of PSI and the ETH domain
Conduct research and prepare information and analyses for the Directorate
Collaborate in the office of the Joint Initiatives of the ETH domain as well as in the forME program of the Association for Medical Research and Innovation in the Canton of Aargau
Support the handling of science policy matters, especially in drafting statements and consultation responses
Assist with various communication tasks (websites, newsletters, presentations, etc.)
Participate in the planning and organization of meetings and events

Your profile

Completed university degree (Bachelor or Master) not older than one year
Understanding and interest in science policy contexts as well as knowledge of the Swiss higher education landscape
Organizational and communication skills
Willingness and interest to work on diverse projects and topics in a scientific environment
Analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as enjoyment in working with complex contexts
Affinity for digital tools
Fluent in German and English, French skills are an advantage
