The Téléverbier Group offers its customers (1 million skier days/year) one of the largest ski areas in Switzerland with its 38 lifts and slopes at 3300m altitude. During the peak season, it employs nearly 500 staff members.
Server (M/F)
To complete its teams for the 2025/2026 winter season, Téléverbier is looking for its "Catering" department:
Your tasks:
- Perform cleaning tasks, set up and arrange the restaurant;
- Set up service consoles, wine glasses, cutlery, bread baskets, bill holders;
- Welcome the customer upon arrival at the restaurant, seat them at a table and present the drinks menu then the food menu;
- Take orders and carry out the service for the tables in your section;
- Clear tables, reset them for the next services and store the equipment;
- Prepare coffees, drinks, and manage the bar as a substitute for colleagues;
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and safety standards;
- Intervene with the customer within the limits of your responsibilities;
- Ensure cleanliness of the dining room, terraces and surroundings of the restaurant, customer and staff restrooms as well as changing rooms;
- Participate in supply and logistics;
- Participate in snow removal from the restaurant terraces;
- Participate in waste disposal related to operations.
Your profile:
- Sense of hospitality, dining room work and customer service;
- Good interpersonal skills and perfect mastery of customer relationship codes;
- In-depth knowledge of service rules and techniques;
- Fluent English, and a third language is a plus;
- Good team spirit;
- Excellent presentation and punctuality;
- Dynamism and good stress resistance;
- Commercial flair (able to generate cross-selling and upselling);
- Organizational skills;
- Good skiing/snowboarding level to be able to reach the workplace in all conditions (black slope, fresh snow, fog...);
- Prior knowledge of the restaurant offer, food and wine menu;
- Knowledge of the resort events and ski area (cabin schedules, names of surrounding mountains, ...).
