In our own confectionery and kitchen, it is therefore busy every day. The meals from menuandmore are gently prepared according to the "Cook and Chill" process. Our professionals cook the dishes traditionally and with a lot of love and then cool them down to +5 degrees Celsius with modern technology. This preserves the vital nutrients optimally. - Energy consumption: We have been able to halve the energy consumption (electricity, heat, fuel) per produced menu in ten years. We obtain electricity entirely from hydropower and our wood pellet heating enables heat generation from renewable raw materials. Despite an award-winning sustainability report
- Waste: We have been able to halve both municipal waste (household waste) and food waste per produced menu in ten years. and ISO certification, we still want to improve further.
Transport: Our own drivers deliver the menus in vehicles of Euro norm class 5 or 6 on carefully planned routes in a resource-saving manner. In addition, four innovative transport vehicles have cooling supported by solar energy, and since 2020, the first electric vehicle is in use, which runs exclusively on green electricity. By 2030, we will convert the vehicle fleet to 100 percent emission- and CO2-free drive.
