About the job
Project & Product Strategist (limited to 2 years) 80 - 100%The Helium project is one of the largest digitization projects in the canton of Zurich. The goal is the gradual replacement of paper-based workflows and the introduction of a modern, fully digital business management system for the Zurich judicial authorities.
Helium is much more than an IT project. We operate at the interface of user centricity, business, and technology. Our diverse, creative team from UX design, business analysis, and software development deliberately places people at the center and works closely with our professional users. Together, we question the status quo, create clarity in complex contexts, and develop well-thought-out solutions that sustainably improve the future working day of the Zurich judicial authorities.
To support the project management, we are looking for a committed and ambitious personality who combines analytical thinking with design thinking and does not see project management as an administrative task but as a creative role – through co-creation, content clarity, and effective visual communication.
Your area of responsibility
- Support of project management in planning, coordination, and control of the overall project
- Participation in the further development of project organization and project governance
- Preparation, execution, and follow-up of project and steering committees
- Preparation of decision-making bases, management summaries, and project reports
- Analysis of complex issues at the interface of organization, processes, IT, and users
- Application of design thinking methods for structured problem definition and solution development
- Design and creation of high-quality presentations for different target groups (project, management, authority leadership)
- Development of storylines and visualizations for clear and effective communication of content
- Collaboration on communication and change measures within the project
Your profile
- Completed studies (university/FH) in business, computer science, communication, or comparable education with several years of experience in project or program management, ideally in complex organizational or digitization projects
- Very good analytical and conceptual skills to analyze complex issues in a structured way and prepare them understandably
- Experience working with agile methods (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) in large project organizations as well as very good knowledge of design thinking, user-centered development, and modern product development
- Strong competence in creating professional presentations and using tools such as PowerPoint, Miro, Confluence
- Very good sense for visual communication, structure, dramaturgy, and storytelling
- Independent, structured, and reliable working style
- High communication skills and enjoyment of working with interdisciplinary teams
What we offer
- Participation in one of the most exciting digitization projects in public administration
- High scope for design and active participation in digital transformation
- Modern project work with agile methods and a user-centered approach
- Collaboration with committed professionals from administration, IT, law, and organization
- A professional, collegial environment with clear societal impact
- Flexible working models, the possibility of mobile work, and contemporary working conditions
