Polymechanic – CNC Manufacturing CNC Setter Short Turning (all genders)
Activities
- Setting up multi-axis CNC short turning machines (Okuma, Miyano Mitsubishi or Index lathes)
- Independently manufacturing complex precision turned parts according to the production plan
- Adjusting CNC programs
- Setting up and programming tool-holding robots with Fanuc control
- Planning, monitoring, and optimizing production processes
- Responsible for high quality of the workpieces
- Troubleshooting production disruptions
- Implementing process optimizations
Requirements
- Completed basic training as a polymechanic or production mechanic with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ)
- Experience in setting up CNC short turning machines
- Knowledge of Okuma, Fanuc or Siemens controls
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good German skills at least A2 level and a team player
- Quality- and goal-oriented actions as well as solution-focused thinking
