The Information Technology Center (ITZ) is a central service provider of the Zurich University of the Arts and is responsible for the entire IT infrastructure. Members of ZHdK are supported in the use of IT resources and can access various services such as: Support for hardware or software issues, Instructions and training related to IT, borrowing options for IT devices, operation of IT basic services and infrastructure, assistance in planning and implementing IT projects, new development or expansion of existing applications.
Starting summer 2026 an apprenticeship as
Apprenticeship as ICT Specialist EFZ
is available.
During the 3-year apprenticeship, you will receive comprehensive and diverse training as an ICT specialist and act as a contact person between installation and support. You will learn to take on the following tasks:
- Support at the IT service desk and hotline
- Expansion of device configurations
- Installation of hardware and software
- Maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of client hardware and public computer workstations
