The Center for Children with Sensory and Physical Disabilities ZKSK is an interdisciplinary competence center for children and adolescents with physical, sensory, and multiple disabilities in the canton of Solothurn. At four locations, we offer school support, individual medical and pedagogical therapy services, as well as housing options. With psychological and medical assessments and therapies, we support, advise, and accompany children and families.
To complement our team, we are looking for an occupational therapist in Oensingen starting 01.04.2026 or by arrangement.
You will support children and adolescents with movement, perception, behavioral impairments, and learning difficulties on an outpatient basis.
You will work in a motivated, experienced, and interprofessional therapy team, show enthusiasm in dealing with children and adolescents, and remain calm, flexible, and resilient even in challenging situations.
Your tasks
- Holistic assessment and treatment of the child in the areas of activities and participation as well as functional limitations
- Clarification and evaluation according to recognized standardized assessment procedures
- Selection of treatment methods and formulation of goals in close collaboration and involving medical management, parents, school, and other professionals
- Conducting treatments as individual or small group therapy
- Independent handling of administrative tasks
Your qualifications
- Degree in occupational therapy and SRK recognition or willingness to obtain it
- Knowledge of common assessments in occupational therapy
- Experience in pediatrics is an advantage
- Enjoyment of independent and varied daily work
- Communicative personality with high social competence
