Clerk: Event Management with a Gastronomic Flair (50%)
The Church District Ten belongs to the Zurich Church Community and includes the districts of Höngg, Oberengstringen, and Wipkingen West. To support our dedicated housekeeping and administration team, we are looking for you immediately or by arrangement as
Your tasks
- Planning, management, and responsibility for room and event management
- Contact person for internal and external tenants / organizers
- Coordination and accompaniment of church and external events as host in Church District Ten
- Responsibility and implementation of SIBE/SIGE function - fire protection and occupational safety
- Implementation of Green Rooster (sustainability topics according to EMAS certification)
- Deputy duties and support of the housekeeping team including the culinary area
- Collaboration in cross-team projects and working groups
Your profile
- Completed commercial training or hotel communication specialist EFZ
- Professional experience in event management and gastronomy
- Further training in SIBE fire protection and occupational safety or willingness to complete it
- Very good IT and Microsoft Office user skills (erpKG, safely, etc.)
- High degree of independence, initiative, flexibility, and resilience
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Christian basic attitude expressed in work
- Preferably residence in the city of Zurich or in neighboring communities
