In Hamburg's newest design district, we offer you a job with guaranteed fun and lots of variety. Just a short walk apart, we work closely together in both hotels. With 49 rooms in the Old Harbor Office as well as the Boilerman Bar and the NENI Restaurant, we jointly ensure satisfied guests. Our bar team creates flavor explosions in the glass. We are looking for YOU, a new team member who enjoys serving and creating the best highballs in town.

The Bar Manager independently runs the bar and ensures that the staff have everything a strong team needs. You market the bar as an independent concept with highballs. Several times a year, you develop the bar menu and new highballs with your bar team. We look forward to welcoming you as Bar Manager (m/f/d) in the Boilerman Bar.

Job Description

What does your workday look like …

• You create the deployment schedule, lead the team, and support your colleagues in their development
• You ensure correct billing and clean administrative processes
• You take responsibility for your budget and develop the bar entrepreneurially
• You are a competent and open contact and sparring partner for Jörg Meyer and the Highballers
• You support your colleagues with an infectious smile when all guests storm the bar at the same time wanting a drink. You also keep your cool during spontaneous plan changes

Qualifications

Your personality counts more than your resume …

• You have some leadership experience in a bar and speak fluent English
• You can inspire your colleagues as well as your guests. Additionally, you know your way around Hamburg and always have insider tips at hand
• You are passionate about the bar scene and bar culture and enjoy discovering new concepts
• You are a doer – and openly admit when you have made a mistake
• You bring not only your skills but also your character
