Group Leader Sickness Loss of Earnings - 80%-100% (m/f/x)

Within the Personal Insurance Department, and to strengthen the Sickness Loss of Earnings (SLE) service, we are looking for a Group Leader Sickness Loss of Earnings between 80 and 100%, based in Lausanne. The role involves both leading a team of specialized managers and managing claims files.

The tasks awaiting you:

• Provide support and technical advice to your collaborators on cases
• Organize and coordinate the work of your group: hold team meetings, one-on-ones, organize replacement plans, etc.
• Actively participate in the weekly meetings of the service managers and work closely with the service head as well as other group leaders
• Train your collaborators (10 people) and ensure the proper application of management rules
• Plan, organize, and control the processing of your team’s benefit cases and actively participate in improving and simplifying processing procedures
• Independently and proactively handle part of the claims cases from your own client portfolio (from the opening and in close collaboration with medical advisors and our Care Managers)
• Maintain regular contact with partners, insured persons, employers, and care providers

Your profile:

• Federal insurance diploma or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in the SLE benefits field
• Experienced leader, recognized for your ability to mobilize teams, create a positive work atmosphere, and promote employee development, while making effective decisions in demanding environments
• Native French speaker, very good command of Italian is an asset
• Comfortable with common IT tools (MS Office)
