Senior Production Planning and Control Specialist

Purpose of Work

Role involves managing and coordinating the planning and control activities of Pfiffner Turkey Instrument Transformer production in coordination with internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner in accordance with capacity, optimum resource utilization and in line with business objectives. This role aims to bridge the gap between Sales, Engineering, Materials Planning and Production Management to manage customer requests optimally.

General Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from engineering departments of universities (Preferably Industrial, Mechanical, Management Engineering)

At least 5 years of production planning experience in related enterprises

Advanced knowledge of English

Have ERP experience (SAP or LOGO)

Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

Advanced computer knowledge, including the use of MS Office (especially Excel)

Job Description

Developing, confirming and managing production plans in the light of sales forecast data, customer orders and resource (material, machine, human) data

Monitoring daily/weekly production output and adjusting schedules to meet changing demands or resolve bottlenecks.

Acting in coordination with purchasing, warehouse and quality teams, supplying materials to production on time and coordinating the efficient use of capacity

Providing relevant planning data, production orders and follow-up from the ERP system

Providing data to production units on production and line balancing and providing solutions for bottlenecks

Identifying and reporting possible risks on the production side and taking part in solution studies

Reporting of data on customer and production metrics

Contributing to process improvement (Kaizen, CIP, etc.) studies
