About the job

The Winterthur Sports Office implements various sports promotion projects for children, adolescents, and adults. By maintaining municipal sports and recreational facilities, it provides the infrastructure for active leisure activities. Our outdoor sports facilities offer the best sports opportunities for clubs and individual athletes. They serve not only as home grounds for football clubs up to FC Winterthur but also as a home base for various grass sports and recreational uses. As part of a succession arrangement, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a team-oriented and strong leadership personality for the technical management of the Outdoor Sports Facilities team. You are in tune with the sports topics in Winterthur and do not lose sight of the ball even in hectic times.

Your Tasks

Personnel and professional leadership of the Outdoor Sports Facilities team with around ten employees

Responsibility for creating customer- and service-oriented play, sports, and training opportunities on the football and outdoor facilities

Overall responsibility for the economic operation and maintenance of building and sports field infrastructure as well as technical systems and equipment

Ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene regulations

Participation in the planning and implementation of technical projects (costs, deadlines, quality)

Your Profile

Completed vocational training in a craft with technical understanding as well as further training in building technology or comparable

Leadership experience as well as several years of professional experience in the technical operation and maintenance of properties and recreational facilities

Experience in project management, structured and independent working style

High quality and service awareness

Team player with pronounced communication skills and strong connection to the Winterthur sports scene
