You will be involved in all phases of the project, including:
- Active collaboration at all stages of the IGR3D project, including planning, coordination, and scientific monitoring.
- System design in close collaboration with the teams from HESAV (Health University of Applied Sciences Vaud) and CHUV (University Hospital of Lausanne).
- Participation in the clinical validation of the developed system, in connection with medical partners.
- Collection, processing, and analysis of data from clinical studies conducted by HESAV and the
- Valorization of scientific results, including writing publications, participating in conferences, and communicating about the IGR3D project. Additional activities Occasionally, you will be required to:
- Participate in other applied research projects in the fields of image processing, 3D image synthesis, virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR).
- Contribute to the laboratory's operation and occasionally support teachers in their educational activities.
- PhD in computer science, machine learning, computer vision, or a closely related field.
- Excellent mastery of machine learning techniques, with practical programming experience, especially in Python and with frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Skills in 3D animation (motion capture or any related algorithm) are highly appreciated.
- Good communication skills, ability to work in a team while demonstrating autonomy and scientific rigor.
- Knowledge of software development (C++, C#, Python) and image processing (OpenCV), as well as familiarity with graphics engines like Unreal Engine or Unity, is an asset.
- Proficiency in French (professional level) and good written and spoken English (minimum B2), enabling collaboration in a bilingual environment and contribution to international scientific publications.
