Your new role

Together with the deputy school management, you are responsible for the operational, pedagogical, and personnel leadership of the Oberzil-Krontal school unit. In your role, you take overall responsibility, are the first point of contact for everyone involved in the school building, lead internal school projects, and significantly shape "the school of tomorrow."

This position is for you if you

• have completed or are willing to complete school management training.
• have several years of leadership experience and a pedagogical understanding of a heterogeneous environment.
• enjoy digital work processes, are strong in organization, and have a structured way of working.
• possess strong communication skills and holistic thinking and acting.
• have an interest in educational policy issues and want to drive school development forward.

The School and Music Department manages the city schools as well as the offerings of the music school and day care. Our school unit

The two school buildings Oberzil and Krontal with seven kindergartens are located in the east of the city of St. Gallen. Around 550 children are taught in 28 classes by a team of over 60 teachers. We are committed to contemporary and competence-oriented teaching.
