About the job
Food is more than just enjoyment for you: it tells stories about people, traditions and trends, about food production or societal changes. You recognise stories that interest our readers – and know how to present them journalistically.
For the People, Food, Better Living section of "Schweizer Familie" we are looking for a person with strong writing skills and solid knowledge in the culinary field starting 1 January 2027 or by arrangement. We offer you a challenging, independent role with plenty of creative freedom.
What to expect:
As a Culinary Editor, you will be part of a seven-member team and primarily responsible for topics around food, enjoyment and nutrition.
You are interested in the Swiss gastronomy scene, engage with food and its production, and you also enjoy cooking.
You have a feel for topics and independently develop relevant and surprising stories about people and products, about food culture and new developments.
You are a skilled writer, research thoroughly and know how to tell your stories vividly and entertainingly – in portraits, reports, interviews, short texts and other suitable formats.
You have broad general knowledge and also contribute ideas in the areas of People and Better Living.
Ideally, you already have experience in magazine journalism.
