Web Publishing/Project Assistance, temporary, 50 - 60%The Lehrmittelverlag Zürich is one of the leading providers of teaching and learning materials in Switzerland. As a cantonal publisher, it develops and produces instructional teaching materials primarily for elementary schools with around 75 employees.
Are you interested in working on innovative digital teaching material projects? We offer a varied position in the field of web publishing with additional tasks in project assistance in our "Digital Media" department starting from April 2026 or by arrangement. The position includes a workload of 50-60%. The employment is through a personnel service provider and lasts about 12 months.
Your area of responsibility
In this position, you support the "Digital Media" department by filling text and image data into a Content Management System (CMS). You prepare content from teaching materials and manuscripts to be web-accessible, optimize their structure, and arrange them in a meaningful order. You ensure uniform formatting and maintain them in the appropriate style templates. You assist in the production of other media formats such as images, audio, or videos and take on administrative tasks to support the project.
Your profile
You have training in the field of media informatics, interactive media design, or web publishing – alternatively, you bring comparable professional experience. You are used to working with various web applications and CMS and are familiar with media production. Working with web technologies and the Adobe Creative Suite is part of your daily routine. You find it easy to collaborate with internal and external partners on an equal footing. Very good German skills as well as solid user knowledge of MS Office applications are required. A didactic understanding and awareness of the Swiss education system are advantageous. English and French skills are a plus. You are characterized by strong concentration and reliability. You have a quick grasp, a high level of abstraction, and think in networks. Structured work as well as a high degree of accuracy are among your strengths, as are flexibility, attention to detail, resilience, and good self-organization.
