About the job
You can expect a diverse and exciting role as a Regulation Specialist focusing on work in international standard setters (BCBS, IOSCO, IAIS)
- Preparation of decision-making bases, support of FINMA representatives as well as independent representation of matters in international committees
- Close cooperation with the supervisory and cross-sectional areas of FINMA on regulatory development and implementation issues
- Assuming substantive responsibility in official cooperation including preparation and follow-up of meetings
- Participation in the strategic policy development of FINMA
- Participation in peer reviews and benchmarks in the regulatory area
- University degree, preferably in business/economics, law or natural sciences
- 5-8 years of relevant professional experience,
- Strong analytical and communication skills, assertiveness, flexibility, independence
- Convincing and target-group-oriented communication at internal and external management levels
- Very good English skills (C1) and German skills, knowledge of another official language is an advantage
- Experience in policy work and cooperation with authorities is a plus
