Main tasks
- Planning, co-designing, conducting, and leading on-site inspections at insurance companies
- Regular interaction with the C-level of the supervised institutions
- Close cooperation with internal specialists, cross-functional units, and other organizational units of FINMA
- Documentation of results, in-depth clarification of supervisory relevant regulatory violations as well as oral and written reporting
- Active participation in shaping and further developing our work processes and tools
Profile
- University/technical college degree, ideally in business administration
- At least 5 years of professional experience at a primary insurer or a bank with insight into risk management and/or insurance technology or at an audit firm, ideally further training as a certified public accountant or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland
- Quick comprehension and pronounced analytical skills
- Empathetic, communicative, and team-oriented personality with a convincing appearance, negotiation skills, and a touch of humor
- Very good German or French skills (C2) as well as good knowledge of the other language and English (at least B2)
