gaw is a non-profit organization and has stood since 1987 for professional and sustainable work and residential integration for people with primarily psychological impairments in the Basel region. A diverse team of around 100 professionals contributes in the areas of retail/production, gastronomy, housekeeping, packaging and shipping, commercial professions as well as housing to integration with around 230 supported work and training places and 35 partially supervised residential places.

Are you looking for a challenge in retail with a social additional task? For our Migros partner branch Wasgenring in Basel, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a versatile and committed personality as Department Manager: Cosmetics Household Non Food 80%.

Your tasks - versatile & meaningful

• Support of people with performance impairments, employees in supported work and professional measures
• Management of the assigned department including activity planning and compliance with Migros guidelines 
• Regular journal entries about the course of work, incidents and coaching
• Deputy for the cash department management
• Numerical flair, solid IT skills (SAP, Abacus, Outlook, Word)
• Conducting internal QM training 
• Occasional cash register duties

Your profile - professionally competent & personally committed

• Completed basic training in retail, mandatory EFZ in the field of cosmetics household and non-food  
• Several years of professional experience in the field of cosmetics household and non-food 
• Joy, patience and understanding in dealing with people with performance impairments 
• Willingness to work in the late shift, 10:30 am to 7:45 pm
• Weekly activity planning at the weekly team meeting, pre-ordering of promotional goods
