About the job

The Winterthur libraries consist of seven different locations. We are looking for support for the two teams Media Provision and Neighborhood Library Seen. The workplaces are located in Grüze and Seen. We are looking immediately or by arrangement for a service-oriented and flexible personality who enjoys media processing as well as values contact with our guests.

Your Tasks

Media acquisition according to standing order with supplier contact

Catalog data import and preparation according to RDA and plain text

Advising the public regarding the physical and digital media offerings

Supporting our guests in using the electronic and library infrastructure, back office tasks

Your Profile

Training as an Information and Documentation Specialist EFZ or equivalent qualification

At least 2 years of professional experience

Enjoyment of administrative tasks

Very good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Winning and resilient personality with proven communication skills as well as high customer and service orientation
