The Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich (PUK) is one of the leading psychiatric clinics in Switzerland. The Infrastructure and Technology department is responsible for construction projects, the maintenance and upkeep of operational technical systems and buildings, as well as the gardening with outdoor facilities.
The Technology and Maintenance Zurich department ensures the safe operation of our 25 locations for patients and employees 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Based on a holistic maintenance strategy, safe building maintenance and upkeep of the building infrastructure are ensured. An on-call service provides support around the clock.

Your Tasks
- Personnel and professional leadership of the employees in the Technology and Maintenance Zurich department
- Establishment, management and further development of the Technology and Maintenance Zurich department (electrical workshop, HVAC workshop, painting, carpentry and outdoor properties) taking into account the framework conditions of the PUK strategy and organisational development as well as the operational requirements in psychiatric clinical operations
- Organising and performing on-call duties
- Maintenance, upkeep and modifications of the alarm system
- Participation in and management of projects
- Deputising for the Head of Property Management/Technology
Your Profile
- Technical or craft-based basic training as an electrician with a Federal VET Diploma, Federal Diploma as an electrician, workshop manager or higher technical college qualification in a technical field
- Excellent ICT user skills and outstanding German language skills
- Independent and responsible personality with self-confidence and decisiveness
- High communication and cooperation skills as well as pronounced social competence and balanced critical ability and self-reflection
- Strong leadership skills with high empathy and tolerance in diverse teams
- Experience in projects and budgeting
